The food was so good I forgot to take a picture. I got the falafel sandwich with babaganoush and tabbouleh salad with the garlic mayo. If I had more stomaches I’d order another one right now. Next time I’m in NJ, I’m coming back.

The falafel is some of the best I've had in NJ. The pita is always hot, and there's a ton of great salads to choose from. I liked the old pre-COVID seating better, it had a lot more of a Mediterranean vibe. Now it feels more like a cafeteria - but there's plenty of seats, at least. I wish it was open on Sunday and evenings. I also think they should take away the order kiosk. It takes longer when you use it vs ordering from the staff. A loyalty program would be cool, too. 5 Stars - it's awesome to have a delicious kosher option on Newark.
I went here thinking it was a normal salad bar but it was even better than expected! I got the bowl and chose to make the salad my base with the shredded chicken, potato salad and chickpea salad… The flavor was delicious and fresh! The garlic sauce on top hit the spot and I think this place has the best baklava I’ve ever had!
4.4 stars. Nice lunch spot. Kosher falafel and other Middle Eastern dishes. Fresh vegetables and delicious tahini and hummus. Could easily see the lunch spot in my regular rotation if I worked in the area.
The Green Chicpea is my favorite place to eat in this area. However, when the restaurant is closed, they don't leave any messages on the doors or online. Lately, the restaurant has been closed often.
